MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Interest for Selection of Individual Consultant
The Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, represented by the Government of Balochistan, has received a loan (Cr: No: 5885-PAK) from the International Development Association tovvards the cost of Balochistan Integrated Water Resource Management and Development Project (BIWRMDP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments for hiring the services of following specialist to work with th e Project Management Unit as an Individual Consultant:
Minimum Qualification and Experience
Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist
M.Sc. in Social Sciences/Development Studies/Rural Development; 15 years of post-M.Sc. experience, at least 5 years of which shou Id be in the publidpriva te sector and/or development sector; Ph.D. in relevant fields is an advantage; Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of local languages is an advantage; Familiarity with variousmethods of quantitative and qualitative met hods of M&E including those of participatory nature, Experienced in community driven development projects funded by international donors; General understanding of IWRM principles and their implication on natural resources use; Awareness and understanding of Pakistan’s national water resources development strategy; Experience in socioeconomic development of Balochistan is an advantage.
