Introduction of our hair: The hair on your head likely comes to mind when you think about your hair. But practically every portion of your body has hair. The hair on your head protects your skull from injury and keeps your head warm. By limiting the amount of light and dust entering your eye,eyelashes and eyebrows shield them from harm. Where does hair comes from? The way hair emerges from the skin is the same whether it is on your head, arm, or ankle. It begins in the hair root, a location beneath the epidermis where keratin is formed when cells band together.Root is located inside, and it resembles a little tube in the skin. The hair pushes up from the root and emerges from the follicle through the skin where it may be seen as it starts to develop. The hair root is fed by tiny blood vessels at the base of every follicle to maintain it developing. The cells inside the strand of hair, however, are no longer active after it has reached the skin’s surface. Dead cells can be seen in the hair you can see on every area of your body. Therefore, when someone uses scissors to trim your hair, it doesn’t hurt. A greasy gland, often known as an oil gland, is connected to almost every hair follicle. The oil that is produced by these sebaceous glands gives the hair its shine and light waterproofing. Sometimes, such as during adolescence, these glands can release an excessive amount of oil, causing a person’s hair to seem greasy. It’s time to shampoo! Today’s hair is gone tomorrow: Although you have more than 1 million hairs on your head some are shed daily. Each day, between 50 and 100 hairs fall out while you wash it, brush or comb it, or just sit quietly. Don’t worry though, new hairs are continually replacing the lost ones.Your hair will grow for two to six years on average. After a few months of relaxation, it finally falls out.
